Dear Customer,

Welcome to our September 2013 Enterprise newsletter. Last month we unveiled our suite of Cloud services; we do hope you have signed up for the free trial. Please log onto www.mtn.co.ug/webstore to enjoy the 30 day free trial and enter our new world.

It’s our intention to professionalize all businesses and open up a world of possibilities using the latest applications.

This month we unveil Managed Firewall service.  This is a managed security service which provides firewall configuration, administration, monitoring, report generation, support, and the use of a firewall system consisting of firewall equipment and related software (collectively called the “Firewall System”) owned, maintained and supported by MTN for your business.

MTN’s Managed Firewall services provide customized, around-the-clock firewall protection at a fraction of the cost of traditional solutions, allowing the customer to stay ahead of the threat of data loss or hacking while also freeing up valuable resources.

It is our business goal to continuously seek solutions that will meet your day to day operational efficiencies.

In July, we introduced Co-location which is part of our Managed Hosted services. This takes care of your digital storage hence saving your business millions of shillings in IT infrastructure investments.

Business benefits of Managed Hosted services include;

  • Solutions tailored to your specic needs – flexibility for you to choose solutions that best fit your business requirements and budget.
  • Reduction of operation costs – in-house server and database management tends to be more expensive than outsourcing the service to a hosting partner who already has  the experience and skills.
  •  Saving time & money – ensures that you focus on growing your business with minimum time spent on server & applications management.
