Of recent, it has become a trend in Uganda that most of the fundraising in taking the same direction and that is “car washes”.
This is evident from the time in time out wash activities that have been organised in the first half of 2016. This is from the well organized and successful Save Carol car wash to Save Lake Victoria cash wash that was held on Saturday, 15th May 2016 at Fusion Auto Spa in Munyonyo.
It was organized by the minister of Tourism Hon. Maria Mutagamba and supported by the Miss Tourism Uganda initiative. Miss Tourism queens from the different regions of the country positively turned up hence making the wash successful.
Each car wash was charged 100,000 shs. Among the special attendees was city tycoon Jack Pemba of Pemba Sports Africa alongside different dignitaries from the different walks of life.
